Superfoods: The Biggest Scam Of Them All Or Real Healing Foods?
It seems like everywhere you look you’ll see a new book or news article coming out promoting the latest and greatest ‘Super Food’ to be discovered. Most recently, it’s kale. A few months ago it used to be the goji or acai berry and before that pomegranates.
The claims are similar to what you would see from a MLM opportunity: “Add 10 years to your life”, “Boost your sex drive without Viagra”, or “Never get sick again!” Superfoods are touted as the miracle cure-all for every illness from the common cold to cancer and AIDs. Are they real or are they just trying to sell you something to make some money? The answer is yes to both.
Superfoods are real and their benefits are real and they have been proven for many years, some up to 7,000 years. They have a better track record than some of the other products you see with some MLM programs.
It’s because Super Foods can have such a powerful effect on your health and well being that makes them a target of money making opportunities like MLMs. That doesn’t make Super foods, or functional foods as they are sometimes called, a scam.
The truth is that you can buy Super Foods at your local supermarket or farmer’s market or even online without getting involved in an MLM. And the prices will be more reasonable too.
What can Super Foods do for you?
Superfoods are an excellent way to make up for dietary deficiencies most of us have. When our bodies lack many vital nutrients we need daily, our bodies start to wear down and we get sick or injured or we just feel fatigued all the time. When you eat Super Foods, your body receives the nutrients that it requires to function properly and optimally. You get sick less, recover from injuries faster and maintain a high energy level.
